Team LISA had the opportunity to meet with Daniel Hall, who is a member of our advisory board. In January he is on his way to teach as an associate professor at the esteemed ETH in Zurich, Switzerland. Having just received his Ph.D. from Stanford, he has his finger on the proverbial pulse, and we appreciate his perspective and insights. (This is what one can do with a Ph.D.!)
Daniel is as fascinated with the construction industry as we are, and an invaluable resource in helping us define how we can point students toward meaningful construction tech careers while making the industry visible and broadening the talent pool for companies.
We’d love to know what you think: What is the disconnect for students in finding work they are suited for and how are our universities failing them?
